Mission: The Hunt Begins
Location: CDF Vendish
Timeline: MD002 1630 hrs

She stood in her temporary quarters aboard the CDF Vendish. This was the ship that was to take her to her assignment aboard the USS Artemis. Siadra couldn't pull herself away from the window as she gazed out towards the battle that was taking place. Breen ships going against a rag tag fleet from SB50. Siadra clenched her teeth as she saw damage that had been dealt to civilian ships. She saw a Breen ship or two just drifting in space, not being able to move. Debris drifted by and she noticed a body or two. A thought crossed her mind, making a note of she knew what killed these people, it was a fight with the Breen. She would not have to do an autopsy upon them to determine the cause of their death.

The ship she was on shuddered and shook with the barrage coming from the Breen ships that were redirecting their attack at the Vendish, though some were dividing the attack towards the other ships as well. With curiosity Siadra looked up what ships were involved with this battle.

There was the USS Paramount and what she determined it was commanded by Commodore Rice. ( Some information she had garnered from those who were prepping to go assist the station, in its hour of need. )

Commodore Rice was the brother of the XO on the USS Artimus. Abernathy Rice. She wondered if the two brothers got along. Siadra decided she would find out once she got to her ship. There was a flash of light just outside of her window, and it threw her back away from there and she hit the floor. Scoffing slightly Siadra scrambled to get back upon her feet.

"This ship had better hold together." The chief of science muttered to herself. "I would actually like to get there in one piece. I've got work to do!"

Aadru popped up in her mind. Just make certain you write all of this down it is a must, as this is history being made and you are right there in the thick of it. Imagine Breen out here in the Gamma quadrant, you've got to find out all of the what happened and who was involved, recording this in history. Just the fact that you are on a Cardassian Ship, this is certainly even more eventful. I so wish you were up on the bridge to have even more of a ringside seat of all this happening. You must find out what was said between Maarkuul and Commodore Rice.

"Aadru, I do not know if Markuul would be wanting me to interview him nor Commodore Rice either." Siadra retorted.

You must do so, I insist, this is something that needs to be recorded for all to read. You were chosen as you are capable of gaining information. You must interview them all.

"Aadru, look I am a forensic Scientist one who solves crimes. " Siadra knowing full well she was on the losing end of this argument.

And it would be a crime for posterity if you did not go after the history. Don't you agree, Jomad? Aadru calling upon the first former host.

"I cry foul play on this one, Aadru!" Siadra growled out.

Jomad quietly remarked. He has a point Siadra, everyone has a story and in your studies it has been proven time and time again, in order to find the crime you must look at the story, the background, what happened. And this, this is an opportunity not to be wasted.

Siadra got the feeling that her the last former host had something to say. "Um...Keema I have the feeling that you'd like to say something?"

Keema gave out a slight sigh. Child, one must not forget that you are woven into a rather intriguing tapestry of life. I find that I will agree with the others, you must follow the thread of information and story in order to put things into play, or untangle knot that has developed.

"Fine Fine I'll make certain to do so, I am hoping that those involved will be willing to be interviewed by me for history sake." Siadra spoke. She truly hated it when they were of one mind.

"Look I am serious, they are not going to want me to bug th-" the rocking of the ship being hit by torpedos interrupted her argument with the others.

Child get to that window and begin recording. Keema said a bit forcefully along with Jomad and Aadru.

"Okay, Okay, okay!!" Siadra moving back to the viewport to watch as the battle unfolded even more. She watched as the Andorian ship and the Paramount took damage this included a ship that she was told by the other hosts it was El-Aurian. Soon a Klingon ship decloaked after it had disappeared.

The battle drew to a close, Siadra feeling somewhat drained, took a seat at the table to look at what she had recorded. She sighed, it was rather taxing, but since the battle was done, Siadra decided to see if she could speak with the Captain of the ship. She went to step out of her temporary Quarters and was stopped by one of the Cardsassian security.

"I would like to pass and see Captain Markuul." Siadra requested.

"No you can not. I have been given orders that you do not leave your quarters until we reach SB50." the rather imposing carsdassian stated. He had no expression in his eyes nor his face. He was definitely unreadable. No sort of body language excep for if she left he'd not be reluctant in tossing her back inside.

"Very well, just pass on this message to your Captain I would like to request a meeting with him at a later date." Siadra getting a determined look in her eyes.

"You may send the message yourself. I am not a messenger." The cardassian responded. With a slight gesture of his head, he indicated that she was to go back inside.

With a sigh, Siadra nodded and went back in. Once inside she grumbled, "he won't let me go see Markuul"

Keema responded. Now isn't the time my child, you will have to be patient.

"Will you just quit calling me child? I am a grown woman." Siadra protested.

You were as close as I could get at having a child, Siadra. Keema said soothingly. It is a term of endearment, that is all.

Siadra gave a mental nod, she knew of Keema not having had children. "Okay, and I think I will be taking a nap, until we reach my detination."

No time for you to nap, we are already at SB50 and it is almost time to disembark. Keema replied.

Siadra's eyes widened she had lost trackof time and they were definitely arriving at the station. She almost lost the opportunity to record the event. She cringed at the sign of damage to the station, it had been attacked as well. Then her face turned pale, for she caught the glimpse of the USS Artemus, it looked like the ship had taken a beating. Well, here was another piece of history that needed to be written about.

A quick trip through the station to where she'd arriving to the USS Artemis. Something gave Siadra pause though and she took a glance at the Manifest of the Station. And smiled. Maybe before she met up with the Captain of the USS Artemis, she'll go see Daynah Ral. With a slight impish gaze she made her way deeper into the station, her goal? To see, Ral.
